In August 2021, Elizabeth and I embarked on the trip of a lifetime. Over the course of a week from August 13 to 20, we explored the iconic national park tandem in northwestern Wyoming – Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Every piece of advice we read said we would need this long to see the area, and boy, was that correct. We were joined on this trip by my immediate family, as well as Elizabeth’s mom, Aunt Terri, and cousin Garrett. Together, we conquered difficult hikes, kayaked and rafted the western waters, and managed to check off a daunting list of sights and scenes. Most memorable of all, of course, was the moment where I proposed to Elizabeth – and she said yes!
This post is going to serve as sort of a homepage for each mini story from this trip. To be honest, with days crowded with events, trying to write a single post from this trip could devolve into a daunting task with thousands of words. Instead, I’m going to use this as a chance to put all of the best pictures in one post and link to individual stories through here. Stay tuned, as I’ll be updating this while I write!
